it doesn't really matter where he's from or how he got here— or at least that's what peter says. he clunked around in the cogs of the foster care system for a while and flew away when he was a teen. he never finished high school, although his resume says he did. he's not the type to take jobs that do background checks.

he ended up in jacksonville, fl doing odd jobs here and there for money. no big aspirations to get rich and settle down anywhere, just enjoying life as it came. he's been living in a hand-me-down camper van given as a gift (peter always had a knack for friends and favors) and it's parked at the ferry dock in miami.

jack of all trades, master of none. does a lot of odd jobs and picks up misc skills pretty quickly, but they're not always useful in his day-to-day. he's a pretty good singer and can play the lute and pan pipes. (he picked that up from working the renaissance festival.) fantastic at picking locks, although he'll always try the windows first.

possibly due to the nature of his tale, peter can't ever remember a time when he wasn't peter and assumes he was born already awake. he renamed himself to suit his true identity and his birth name is a long forgotten memory. it goes without saying, he's always been open about who he is. he's not too careful about hiding his powers around ordinary humans (why should HE suit THEIR comfort?) and is a local cryptid in jacksonville, florida. nobody has successfully captured a clear image of The Flying Man on camera and most people think the eye witnesses are full of shit.
